QOne Electronic Queue supports two main user login methods - through local accounts or LDAP.
Local accounts
Various rules are supported, including:
- Password requirements (length, case, symbols)
- Password expiration period
- Allowable number of days of inactivity
- Lockout rules (session length)
- Protection against password guessing (maximum number of input attempts, period and frequency of temporary lockouts in case of incorrect input)
LDAP
Our system supports Single Sign-On technology with Kerberos encryption (in some cases with NTLM authentication check), which will be of interest to large customers of electronic queue networks.
When the parameter is enabled in the User Group Editing window for linked accounts, the LDAP protocol will be used to access the Active Directory catalog service that stores information about external users. When entering data of an external user in the authentication fields of the back office, such users will be automatically authenticated. Authorization data is stored centrally and hidden from employees.
As a result, employees get seamless access to the QOne Electronic Queue software and all its components based on a single login and password with pre-set rights.
